CONDITIONING

Into The Limelight Conditioning is a school-year career track program, centered on creating workforce ready artists. Conditioning provides a well-rounded arts education in dance, singing, and acting. Students in this program are expected to uphold a high level of professionalism and self discipline.

The Conditioning program is by audition and interview only.

If you would like to schedule an audition and/or interview, or have any questions regarding the Conditioning program please contact our Education Director at @__________.

Conditioning is a once or twice weekly evening program from 4 to 9pm. Each night students will train in one acting, one group singing, and 2 dance classes. Please be sure to register for the appropriate number of days, (whether once or twice a week). Students that wish to become career ready artists are encouraged to schedule as much practice time as their schedules permit.

Conditioning runs with four simultaneous ‘major’ groups, to best support our artists. Each group will be assigned prior to the first night of classes, and is based on a student's strongest skills. Two groups are dance majors, one acting and the last singing. A students ‘major’ class will be their longest class of the night, (running 1.25 hours, while other classes run alternate lengths).

In addition to these nights, twice weekly students have a 45 minute voice lesson once a week and a 45 minute career coaching once every six weeks included. (Please speak with our Education Director to schedule your time slots).

ACTING

Students will be led through character development, ensemble building, improvisation, scene study, audition technique, repertoire building and more, in this ensemble style lesson.

SINGING

A group singing format where students develop strong music theory, harmony, individual ear and style techniques, while building a diverse repertoire. An additional private 45 minute lesson is available for all Conditioning students. These lessons will aim to improve solo skills and individual style.

DANCE

Technique based lessons provide skills in a wide variety of styles, preparing students for a physical career. Pre-professional conditioning for strength, flexibility and choreography retention.

As a member of Conditioning, students are eligible for many perks including priority registration and discounted tickets.
